6. The way to Herlac Coswig GmbH since 1990

In 1990, after the political turn the VEB-Company changed to the Coswig Lacke GmbH in 1992, short time later to the “Herberts Industrielacke GmbH“ – factory Coswig and finally in 1997 to the “Herberts Möbellacke Coswig GmbH”.

They invested in new production lines for coil-coating, furniture paints and dispersion paints. The laboratory was extended for an efficient development of coatings and the service activities were enlarged essentially.

Besides the care of existing products innovations are modern UV-paint systems and water-based paint systems, HS-PUR-paint systems and stain-systems.

A change of the shareholders justified in 2007 the current entity.

Since 2010 Herlac Coswig GmbH is part of the mipa group, an international operating family enterprise in the paint industry.
